A alpha release of my upcoming game.

This was made on scratch and packaged with the turbowarp packager.

RIGHT ARROW and LEFT ARROW to move from side to side, Z key to jump and X to hit.

Press the M key to mute all sounds, although if you hit it lets a bit of sound through. sometimes. Press M again to un-mute.

On the main menu, Z key to select (Currently only the 'start game' works)

Power ups:

The first power up will let you double jump by pressing the jump key while in the air.


Currently this game is not mobile compatible and I have no intention spending more than a week making it compatible.

I used @griffpatch 's scrolling tutorial to make the scrolling engine although I have changed parts of it around. A lot.

This was inspired by team cherrys "Hollow Knight" and I have used parts of it as inspiration. 

The player art is not mine. It was made by 0x72. Visit their only page (that I know of) at 0x72.itch.io

There are a few bugs that I am a where of, but please tell me if you find any.

This is my biggest and hardest project ever.

All the music is royalty free and the sword sounds and the sound when you hit spikes are from Hollow Knight.

I should probably make an update log, but I'm to lazy.

All right, there are some aspects of this that are really cool, and then there are some that are garbage.

good: character looks nice, sounds are great, music is great, very good performance

bad: ugly, art style does not match

have you ever heard of stencyl? that is what I used to make the polypire. it is basically the same thing as scratch, except it's an actual engine. it is no longer being updated, and the community is dead, but it is still a pretty good transition from scratch to actual engines. talk to me more if you want to know more but i would recommend it for someone like you
